Meet the team!

For those that hadn't already guessed, Moonhopper Games is a family run business. For nearly five years, we have slowly grown and developed our own product lines as well as supplying other well known hobby brands.
It has been a struggle at times, as you'd find with any fledgling business - but what makes it all worthwhile is the community that we find ourselves in.
Wargamers and gameplayers are not your run-of-the-mill people. We're all different, and there have never been bars to who is included in this sphere. It doesn't matter where you sit on the rainbow, who you may or may not worship or where your head is at: all are definitely welcome.
We have met so many nice people along the journey that it makes the difficult days worthwhile, and if we manage to put a few smiles on a few faces, or help someone in the world feel more included and not so alone, our job is largely done.
We supply top notch wargaming products, tools and sets, with good old fashioned customer service and friendly advice.
Come and say hello.

Steven Parham - Managing Director
The Big Boss Bloke. Steven is a former prototype engineer and researcher, but has spent most of his grown up life working as a consultant in the mechanical and civil engineering sector, spending many years working on a number of famous and infamous design projects, mostly on Traction Power for railways.
Steven has been wargaming and painting models and armies for years. A relative late starter in the hobby, he bought his first W*******r set when he was in his late forties!
A model builder on the side for more years than he can shake a stick at, thrice failed Robot Wars contestant and sci-fi enthusiast, he built a full sized radio controlled K-9 from Doctor Who in his youth.
Now semi-retired from engineering, he runs Moonhopper full time.

Rachel Parham - Creative Director (Mooniehopper)
Rachel is an accomplished portrait artist, as well as figure painter and tester for all materials made by Moonhopper. You will see her model figure painting work on Instagram as 'Mooniehopper', where she demonstrates not only what our paints can do for your models, but also their other uses, on fabrics and other materials.
When not working for Moonhopper, she moonlights with her own enterprise, Rachel Parham Design, where she gains regular commissions for portraits of people, pets and scenes which are often exhibited and sold in the local art events.
A nanny for nearly twenty years in a former life, she mixed with the great, good and not so good. And once at a celebrity bash, she gave Bernard Cribbins a feather from her outfit so he could use it for his fly fishing!
A life long Iron Maiden fan, she wants to end her days rocking out in an old folks home, deafening the neighbourhood.

Charlotte Smith - Technical Director (Paint Pixie)
The buck stops with Charlie on all matters related to product design, testing and development. From our amazing paints, to our materials and tools, Charlie is there right from the start, creating, enhancing and improving our products until they are perfected and ready to be added to our extensive catalogue.
And to see her handywork, visit her Instagram page as our resident Paint Pixie!
For years beforehand though and to date, she puts her vast artistic skills to great use as a jeweller in her spare time, making a vast array of artisan silverware through Button Tin Designs (check her work out on her Facebook page), as well as running the occasional craft markets and pop-up stalls.
Charlie is a big fan of Jane Austin, period novels and historical dramas, and is a vegetarian.

Finley Babb - Administrative Assistant (Part Time)
Finley works for us part-time when studies permit, and is studying engineering, following in his Uncle's footsteps! He is an avid Formula 1 fan, and went to the 2024 Grand Prix in Singapore.

Daniel Parham - Administrative Assistant (Part Time)
Daniel works for us part-time in between studies doing general admin and donkey work.
He is not into wargaming, but is into the electric guitar and plays mean versions of Layla and Money for Nothing. He is also a hobby rocket scientist and has aspirations of being a fighter pilot with the RAF in the future.

Henry Parham - Administrative Assistant (Part Time)
Henry works for us part-time in between his studies at school, and helps out around the office with general admin and boxing stuff up.
He is an avid Dungeons and Dragons gamer, loves attending wargaming trade shows such as Salute, and is himself a burgeoning artist, with a distinct humourous style of his own. A big fan of 1920s music and Hauntology, as well as the Big Band Sound.

Pixie Harris - Adminstrative Director
Mary (otherwise known by all as Pixie) looks after the admin, the nitty gritty of the social media that everyone else can't do, and makes sure everything is all tickety boo in the office - she's the Office Pixie, not the Paint Pixie.
From emailing customers to chasing suppliers, making changes on our website, video content and making sure the directors are up to speed, she never misses a trick.
Most importantly, she hides the Chocolate Hob Nobs from the Managing Director!

Alana Grant - Trainee Social Media Assistant
Alana is our Trainee Social Media assistant, helping our on creative content, videos, photos and all things social in the office. In her spare time, Alana is an amazing gig photographer, and has taken pictures for bands and local artists. She is also a cosplay wizard, heavily into Anime, and is prolific reader - she likes her fantasy and science fiction!

Betsy - Director of Canine Operations and Biscuit Control
Betsy is the official Moonhopper Office Dog. A mischievious but often shy Cockapoo, her job is to brighten the office up, greet visitors and neighbours, help with the tea and coffee making, chasing after gravy bones and bark at the squirrels outside the office.
Her hobbies include sleeping, farting and staring lovingly at the sandwich van lady when she rocks up.
