Bolt Action: Soviet Infantry

The Soviet Infantry were a hardy bunch, determined to defend Mother Russia to the death if need be from the German invasion of 1941, right until the very end with the fall of Berlin in 1945. The majority of their numbers were drawn from farm peasants, conscripted and turned into a disciplined, formidable force that obeyed orders and endured incredible suffering as a result. 

Their strength, capability and determination was catalysed by fighting the Germans, making the Soviet Infantry an incredibly capable and dangerous foe.  Their sheer number at Stalingrad made the German attack a miserable failure and in part turned the tide against Germany in the Second World War.

This box set contains a platoon of Russian Infantry, and can be configured to use a variety of weapons and equipment: 

• Plastic components to make 40 Soviet Union infantry miniatures.
• Round plastic bases (25mm diameter).
• Background leaflet.

Options in construction allow for different weapon configurations and command models.  Weapons include: 

• Mosin Nagant rifle (scoped, with bayonet and without). 
• PTRD Anti-tank rifle.
• Submachine guns (PPS-43, PPSh-41 and PPD-40).
• Mosin Nagant carbine.
• DP-28 light machine gun.
• Tokarev semi-automatic rifle (and bayonet version).
• Pistols.
• Captured Panzerfaust.

These models requires assembly and painting.
